Followed by a leisurely one hour boat Cruise with Captain Garrett Reid - a guide extraordinaire, naturalist exploring the Lake Erie Shoreline for birds, wildlife, Lake Erie's mysteries and rich (sometimes dark) history!
Garrett will narrate all the legends and lore of Long Point on your tour. Stop at "Bank Swallow" Hotel and learn why Lake Erie is home to the largest nest colonies in the world!
BE SURE TO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THE BALD EAGLES and other birds of prey!

Ever tour includes free photos, zoo visit, Lunch, One Boat Tour and a stop at the Cider Keg to pick-up a complementary snack and information package to go home with.
This tour leaves from a series of different locations. Departure times, itinerary and locations are as follows: 2 Pick-up locations at Guelph Go at 8:25am then Burlington Go Station (Aldershot) at 9:35am.
Tour arrives at Killman Zoo for 10am, Departing for Turkey Point at 11:30am. Once arriving in Turkey Point Lunch is served at The Sandbar On the Beach Restaurant around 12:30pm. At 1:30pm Group A goes on the Boat Tours and Group B to Burning Kiln Winery for tasting and vineyard tour. At 2:30pm The Groups switch getting ready to leave Turkey Point for 3:30pm to the Cider Keg for the last stop before departing home at 4:15pm.
The first Drop off is Burlington Go Station at 5:30pm and finally Guelph Go at 6:30pm
Washrooms facilities are available at this location, however there are no washroom facilities while on tour. You will be expected to sign a waiver upon arrival. A full orientation on safety will be given before boarding the vessel.
Again please remember to dress for the weather. While on tour weather & wind conditions can vary, on occasion participants can expect to get sprayed or splashed by water due to wind and wave conditions.
Consisting of over 26,600 hectares it’s hard to imagine this pristine landscape still exists in Southern Ontario. Designated a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve: Long Point sticks out 42km’s into the middle of Lake Erie and is the worlds largest freshwater sand-spit unaccessible to the public!
